The Creation
Marcus Jones,originally born of Chicago,IL.,moved to the small town
of Hammond,IN.,at a young age.His musical endeavors began there,as he
recorded creative thoughts and rapped in the everyday neighborhood
cyphers.Becoming well known in the East Hammond streets of Indiana,a
street/rap named evolved and Marcus Jones would become Wickid Jonez.
From that point forward Wickid would develop his skills in music,
ranging from rapping,singing,engineering,producing,directing his own
visuals and creating graphic layouts for several mixtapes & album
covers.In 2000 he co-founded the entertainment group Crystal
Clear(Chicago-based),which he was able to perform many acts at schools
and well-known Chicago performances,including the westside gospel
fest.By late 2003,this music group would flop do to differences amongst
the management team.Without any further do,in 2004 Wickid would form
and create his very own music group A.T.G.(Against Tha Grane). A.T.G.
bases it's musical foundation around all genres of music,which mainly
focus on rap/hip hop, r&b/soul and a hint of new school,but not limited to all others."The Syndicate"was formed in 2011.This branch of A.T.G.is the formation of multiple music labels & associates(A.T.G.,Clark Entertainment & Q-Records).The three independent labels collaborate and do business together,while maintaining their own.Together the primary goal is to achieve success through God given talent,of being able to create musical arts of a unique style.
